Living Places

Through a series of exercises, I explored the concept of living spaces through craft, song, and imagination. I began by learning how a place's rhythm and radiance create a unique "song" for each space. In another exercise, I studied the craft of weaving and shaping, discovering the difference between bowl-making (shaped with the palm) and basket-making (woven with fingers). I also delved into landscape imagination, observing how nature inspires everything, from caves to forests. Drawing from these studies, I designed a cafe, a clay and basket-making workshop, and a caretaker's home to create a living space that merges with its surroundings and enhances the site's rhythm.
