Living Places

The void formed by the overlapping circumference of three trees' foliage evolves into a vibrant gathering space—the courtyard, or kund. Strategically positioned at the rightmost side of the site, this sunken courtyard anchors its surroundings, drawing in the landscape while descending into the earth to create a powerful central focus. The kund transcends its role as a spatial element, dissolving the boundaries of surrounding functions and asserting itself as a bold, dynamic statement.
