Center for Medical Implant Research and Development

Located in the ACPC Block of LD Engineering College, this center is envisioned as a pioneering hub for innovation in medical implants. The design integrates sustainability through the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, along with a Design for Assembly (DfA) strategy to enable efficient construction and adaptability. A central courtyard anchors the spatial layout, functioning as an interactive spill-out zone that connects collaborative co-working spaces, secluded research labs, and a bio-exploration gallery. Introducing mezzanine insertions as "volumes within volumes," the architecture encourages layered interaction while maintaining functional clarity, fostering a space of discovery, exchange, and innovation.
