CO MERGE - Commerce Innovation & Business Networking Hub

The Commerce Innovation and Business Networking Hub reimagines the historic Gujarat College in Ahmedabad as a vibrant co-working and entrepreneurial space. Anchored in the argument that spatial adaptability through tectonic systems fosters sustainable design, the proposal introduces modular, reconfigurable interior elements. Materials such as recycled wood, CLT panels, perforated metal, and polycarbonate offer a balance of durability and environmental responsibility. Tectonic partitions define public, semi-public, and private zones, enabling flexibility and long-term adaptability. Through passive strategies and recyclable materials, the design minimizes energy and material footprints, celebrating adaptive reuse while addressing contemporary demands for collaboration, sustainability, and innovation.
