The 80 (approx.) year school building in Jamalpur has braved the vagaries of time. The school building was built in the year 1939 though established earlier in 1861(according to reports). However ,the school building craves for a lot of attention now. The roof needs replacement ,while the walls are damp due to seepage. The building suffers issues due to water conditions in walls roof and the ground. The restoration of the structure should be taken up so as to bring back the colonial grandeur. It is a listed grade II A building and thus has heritage potentials.
