Long-term or persistent exposure to a particular environment causes the brain to consciously or subconsciously pick up and register the environment, which becomes a coherent part of the person’s knowledge database. The learning center seeks to preserve the dwindling craft of Mandavi by making it ingrained in the community at large. The Idea of the project was to develop an urban plaza as a learning center. The blurring of the existing edge of the coast was identified as the main focus of the project. This line then broadens to a large urban promenade which retains people.
