Throughout the year, Mandavi has served as a hub for the boat-making process. For many years, local artisans carried with them the boat-building skills and expertise that had been passed down through the centuries. However, there is still a lack of awareness about recycling and reusing timber logs. This scenario presents Mandvi as a center with significant potential for creating a market for the exchange of secondhand wooden logs, known as the Lakda bazaar. Exploring and expressing different forms and degrees of Temporality through the constructed manifestation of the market is the central concept of this design. According to research, the building is only permanent while the area is being used for a purpose. The structure's persistence decreases as the function concludes.
