The first exercise involved exploring and understanding Steel as a material. The project of designing an Exhibition Space at Helipad, gave the opportunity to investigate various systems and joineries and helped in understanding how steel behaves, its strength and load bearing and spanning capacities.  Using and applying this knowledge at a larger scale, the project  was to design a sports academy for individuals interested in excelling in sports(aquatic) at international levels. The site is located at GTU Campus, Ahmedabad. The Academy is divided into two parts: activities pertaining to students specifically and other essential activities like cafeteria, admin office, etc.
