What if we were to put two pencil drawings next to each other and draw over them again and again? Over the course of time, the drawings character change and new characters emerge.  Another character that emerges is that of depth and richness because of the layers from drawing and redrawing.Cities as we know today also behave like this.If the smudge can’t be designed, can architecture take a step back and be a framework that facilitates this process? Can the architecture draw on the multiple layers on site to form a smudge that would connect all these layers?
