Cognitive and Tactile Learning space

The water collecting structures (Tanks, Dams etc.) are always bound and there is no experience or association of it with people. Also the space below all the water tanks are enormous and yet wasted with just grids of columns. The project focuses on the areas in and around the water tank. It has an eminent element of water “the swamp” which is visible and could be intervened for experiential events. Swamp is a place where Land, Water, Vegetation and other living species, all come in-contact with each other. A children specific space that blurs the boundaries between nature and the built is aimed. An architecture that helps children understand the significance of living with the nature (Staying with the Trouble).
