Connect.Collaborate.Cowork

This project aims to rethink coworking spaces from a flexible shared office space to an interactive work environment that provides multiple opportunities for collaboration. The The idea of flexibility does not mean providing one open space with movable desks, nor does it mean having a partitioned space. Flexibility lies in giving the user the choice to use a variety of spaces according to his requirements. Whether one wants to use a shared workspace or work in areas for more isolated work or collaborate in an interactive public space, the choice lies with the user. This project intends to merge the boundaries between work and collaboration collaboration and promote social interactions. The project looks at collaboration not only between coworking professionals but also between the professionals and the local residents and between various trades of daily life by adding functions like the community kitchen and a space for tailors and hence making the program the interface for the different nature of collaborations. Hence such spaces can be regarded as the new form of urban social infrastructure infrastructure enabling contacts and collaboration between people and ideas.
