Muralscape

This project explores the interplay of diverse workspaces within a single building, viewed through the lens of the hybrid profession of mural architect. Through an investigation of form, compositions transition from abstract objects to inhabitable spaces, refined and structured to meet programmatic needs.
At the core of the project is a thoughtfully designed residency, purpose-built to ignite creativity and foster collaboration. Curated by a dedicated organization, artists and architects spend four to five months immersed in this environment, seamlessly blending their personal artistic pursuits with collaborative efforts. Each resident is provided a private studio, offering an ideal space to realize their creative visions.
Over the course of the residency, the space becomes a crucible of innovation, culminating in a public exhibition that showcases the work produced. This evolving residency fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas, connecting art, architecture, and community in transformative ways.
