Mind The Fungi - A Mycelium based World in 2077

Welcome to Mind The Fungi. Today, we see a Transition to sustainable bio materials and a need for a better sustainable environment. We also see architectural designers involved in not just built spaces, but branching to fashion and product design. And the third part being the potential in fungal matter and mycelium engineering in creating a more sustainable future and using different properties of the Fungi kingdom. The mix of these trends leads one to assume in the emergence of a profession – “bio-poly designer” in the year 2077. In a world where mycelium engineering has taken over buildings, products and interfaces, where the people are in a symbiotic relationship with their built environment.
