The Ceramic Odyssey is a multidisciplinary center in Singapore dedicated to the preservation, study, and reinvention of ceramic culture. The building brings together three core functions: a ceramic museum that showcases historical artifacts and celebrates regional ceramic traditions; a hands-on workshop where students and artists can engage in the craft of clay; and learning spaces that support education and research in ceramic arts and material history. Architecturally, the project is conceived as a spatial journey—an odyssey—through the tactile, transformative world of ceramics. The Ceramic Odyssey is not only a place of exhibition and conservation, but also one of making, learning, and cultural exchange—where the past and future of ceramics are continuously shaped through human hands.
