Fragments of the sacred mind

Fragments of the sacred mind is a project that acknowledges the unfinished grandeur of Bara Kaman, a massive mausoleum that stands both prominent and weathered in the fractured landscape of a post-apocalyptic Bijapur. The spine of the intervention, a cultural center including a hammam, library and meeting spaces is anchored by a vaulted periphery bridging the crack. This spine bridges the cracked terrain, gradually fragmenting into the surroundings, much like a stable mind that holds timeless composure despite scattered thoughts. Through this architectural intervention, the project explores the coexistence of stability and fragmentation, blending the sacred with the mundane.  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1h8KCH3Nr9Re24FU0HVYvKvAta0ch1nJC?usp=drive_link
