The Tower of Hope

The Tower of Hope serves as a cooling system for residences in the settlement of Vanjaravas.  Functioning as a combination of a wind-catching tower and a ventilator, the design aims to improve the ambient temperature and humidity conditions inside houses lacking cross ventilation. The project identifies the potential most vulnerable houses in the settlement with their high interior ambient temperature and lack of ventilation. It effectively regulates interior conditions using stack ventilation and passive downdraft evaporative cooling principles.
