ALTERING EXPERIENCES : Enclosures within Enclosures

To celebrate enclosures it requires a marriage of voids and barriers. An idea to explore multiple enclosures is elaborated in this project. The design demonstrates how larger enclosures cloak smaller enclosures within them. The journey began with understanding the emotions and their adjacencies with spaces as one of the studio assignments, which further took shape in the design with the help of colours, textures, patterns and scales. The design promptly caters to alter experiences within these enclosures. When we think of a party plot, a flamboyant picture is painted where characters of Landscape is a play of elevations. The design includes spaces such as ceremonial garden with clusters of flowering shrubs and woodland with flexible open space. While both the these spaces widely narrate a different story, the narrator, ’Water’, blends them into each other. The narrator directs the user while constantly changing its form and shape. A Landscape with a perfect blend of natural flamboyance and urban amenities.
