Urban Forest : Where nature meets city scale

The Urban Forest project in Ahmedabad blends the corporate world with nature's tranquility, serving as an expansive outdoor extension. Visitors embark on a journey starting with a retail area reminiscent of dry deciduous forests and progressing to shaded café spaces with tree canopy exhibitions. A sunken plaza immerses visitors in a rustic thicket atmosphere. Central to the design are diverse natural environments, including a central open area mirroring savanna woodland and grasslands with densely-packed deciduous seating. Meeting spaces feature lawns shaded by tree canopies, while open workspaces echo dry deciduous forests. Throughout, a water channel symbolizes a conceptual river, unifying the layout. This design offers a serene escape from the corporate hustle, fostering a deeper connection to nature within the urban landscape.
