Kotaro ni ramat- A Ravine Wonderland

This project envisions a landscape intervention in a private residence that draws inspiration from the raw, untamed character of ravines. The design transforms the terrain into a “Wiggly Wonderland,” where winding paths, natural mounds, and organic depressions create a playful yet immersive experience. Rooted in ecological conservation, the intervention aims to restore native vegetation, encourage biodiversity, and foster coexistence with local fauna. Rather than imposing order, the landscape flows with the land’s natural contours, offering secluded pockets, water channels, and naturalistic planting. The result is a sustainable, ever-evolving environment that blurs the line between human living and wild ecology.
