This project, located in Nandigram, leverages the site’s natural slope to establish a sustainable and ecologically responsive landscape. Monsoon rainwater is passively directed from higher to lower elevations, facilitating natural irrigation and minimizing surface runoff. Native plant species, including Neem trees, are strategically positioned to benefit from this hydrological pattern, with additional channels ensuring uniform moisture distribution. Green pockets along these flow paths offer shaded, comfortable microclimates that improve air quality and support biodiversity. Over time, the design evolves into a self-sustaining ecosystem, harmonizing environmental performance with user well-being and contributing to a resilient, climate-adaptive landscape for Nandigram.
