TESSERACT SHIFT: A Climate Research Institute in Goa

Located in Goa, this project employs a climate-responsive design featuring an outer “skin” that protects the main structure from heavy rains while allowing natural ventilation. The perforated or louvered skin invites cool coastal breezes, reducing reliance on artificial cooling. This innovative approach blends traditional Goan architecture with modern techniques, creating a sustainable and comfortable living environment that adapts seamlessly to the tropical climate while maintaining visual and functional harmony with its surroundings.
