A Living Lantern

Nestled among the chaotic streets of Ahmedabad, a tower rises from the Dada Harir stepwell like a beacon of light, providing silent sanctuary to a community of mushroom farmers. Underground, a network of neon blue tubes snake through the columns of the well, containing precious mist of water, essential to keep the mushrooms alive. While the tower acts as a refuge from the madness outside, the subterranean farm conceals a different kind of madness. The bottommost level of the well set aside for another kind of 'shroom'; a place to rewind after a long day of work.
