THREADED NARRATIVES : TEXTILE CRAFT AND DESIGN HUB

The studio explores adaptive reuse and design transformation, focusing on reimagining spaces through thoughtful interventions that honor history while embracing contemporary needs. This semester, we delve into "Sitaram Mills" transformation into a Textile Craft and Design Hub, merging traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality. My approach centers on morphing narratives, creating spaces that evoke sensory engagement and cultural resonance. By integrating sustainable practices and preserving existing structures, the design embodies a seamless weaving of the past and future. Through iterative design processes, sketches, and scaled models, the studio fosters innovative solutions, emphasizing holistic spatial experiences that enrich and inspire users.
