Concealed beneath rising towers of basalt and swampy waters, these communal volumes are designed to have a distinct sense of inside-outside, generated by the site context and relationship to site, while moulding itself to the needs of the user group; such as breaking away from horizontal surfaces and floor-ceiling differentiation while emphasising depth. These discreet nodes/spaces were designed based on the unique anthropometry of 'Naags'; a serpentine humanoid species. Distortion was taken as a governing principle for organisation and form of spaces, which was then multiplied at different scales to generate furniture-like articulation and a unique language for the species.
