Ahmedabad Art Gallery

This project translocated David Chipperfield's unbuilt project, reimagined in the the context of Ahmedabad. The project is an art gallery telling the tale of the city on either side of the river. The choices of materials expresses the cultural and historical significance of the material with respect to context. The building is oriented strategically to combat climate and also engage more social interaction within the plaza and connect the architecture with the people of Ahmedabad.
