Prince and princesses pavillion -Sarkhej Roza

Sarkhej Roza lies in the exterior of the old city of Ahmedabad, built by emperor Ahmed shah. The complex comprises of the king and queens pavilion around the tank beside the Sarkhej mosque. It is entirely built on a series of columns and beautifully plays with the light and shadows created by natural light.  The place acted as a gathering space for various classical concerts before it was declared as a world heritage site. As a part of this project, a pavilion for the prince and princess has been built with reference to the vicinity of Sarkhej and pre-existing builtforms.
