Through some key examples from the 1950s-1980s- the Advance Mills Canteen, Gun House, Sardar Patel Stadium and the Tagore Memorial Hall- the project investigates architectural innovations in Ahmedabad through structural systems at the center and attempts to make an argument that these structural systems were not mere objects of load transfer, but contributed to the overall composition of the structures. It tries to bring front the idea of innovation being a continuous process and looks into the collaborations between agencies.  Links for Essay and Process Journal.
