Theorizing Architectural Production

The Studio was about decoding 12 buildings across Ahmedabad. This process was approached by using drawing Sectional perspectives as a method. Personal interests and questions were developed through the weekly reading sessions held parallel with the drawing process. This essay, BUILDING ENVELOPE AS AN IDIOM OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE focuses on the Envelope as the site of experimentation in the architecture of Ahmedabad in the 1960s.
