The brief was to create an intervention between a cafe and art/sculpture exhibition space. Aim was to create a dialogue between the cafe space and the exhibit space, in way that this whole built form acts as an experience for the person visiting it.In this design i had taken the idea of natural light as an experience, a built form that feels heavy and permanent from the outside but from the inside the play of natural light makes it feel porous and light. The cafe on top, with staggered staircase adds to the informal nature of intervention.
