The projects attempts to contradict the language of the existing building and adopt that of the banyan tree in front of it. The form of the building recedes against the foliage of the tree in response to it. The spaces are meant to be reminiscent of those found in caves, with light coming in through slits and odd shaped openings placed at the top. The colour palette consists solely of shades of grey. Reinforced concrete has been used extensively, for majority of the walls, the roof and the floor, to be able to easily create the "jagged" form of the building.
