The architectural commission entails the creation of an exhibition venue dedicated to presenting Ahmedabad's modernist architectural heritage in a contemporary context. The design concept is informed by a thematic narrative of transition, symbolizing a departure from historical conventions towards a progressive future. Programmatically, the exhibition space is compartmentalized into distinct sections, each corresponding to a specific decade of modernist development in Ahmedabad. A singular continuous circulation ramp is integrated into the structure, facilitating seamless movement between levels and serving as the primary means of traversal through the exhibition. This architectural feature ensures a cohesive spatial experience, allowing visitors to engage with the curated content in a fluid and intuitive manner.
