Idea of the intervention was not only to respond to program of the Herbarium but also to enhance the experience of the quarry. Placement of the intervention is carefully done with the specific part of the cliff, which has an existing ecosystem, A seasonal cycle of vegetation, hybridity conditions of algae and vegetation. To establish this relationship, language of building has to be very porous and built form (mass) should not be overpowering. In order to achieve that the typology of Herbarium was questioned as a place to store plants. With the intervention, the Idea was to create a Inside-out experience where plants are constantly open and live , with keeping in mind the basic requirements of the program. As respond to that, structural system was treated as an infrastructure for the services of the vegetation pods, columns are hollow precast column which circulates water. Where the Pods will be tieing these columns horizontally. Individual slops of the pods vary in two directions as alternate columns are taking water up and down. While spaces being in-fill between this experience. Such intervention will allow a transparent process of Herbarium for visitors.
