The Cultural Nexus pays tribute to diverse cultures of performance arts , the space becomes a harmonious medley of forms and materials that honor Ahmedabad’s profound heritage. The Nexus transcends boundaries between indoors and outdoors. It materializes as a symphony of fluid pathways, blending seamlessly with its surroundings, fostering a sense of oneness with the city’s heartbeat. The Nexus unfolds as a multi-layered space. Exhibition spaces transform into vibrant galleries, showcasing visual arts and photography exhibitions. Cafes and restaurants offer spaces for artistic conversation and repose. The core of the Nexus lies in community involvement not only that of Ahmedabad but also attracting performers from all over the world to showcase their art form to the people of Ahmedabad, further expanding the idea of cultural diversity in Ahmedabad. The main theatre complex houses a 1200 seating capacity, an auditorium primarily hosting dramas, music, dance performances, orchestra Music, Operas, Classical Music and Indian Epics. An experimental theatre with 300 seating capacity, is a mixed-use space for the teaching and research facility which can host workshops, music, dance and drama performances for and by students pursuing the art.
