Cultural Centre for Acrobatics

Situated alongside the bustling Kankaria Lake in Ahmedabad, this locale draws a substantial floating population, rendering it an optimal setting for an acrobatics performance theatre. Distinctively, the theatre isn’t conceived as an isolated entity; rather, it seamlessly integrates with an array of functions, contributing to a holistic urban development. The building has been designed as an interconnected network of terraces becoming a place of activity and interaction.

The idea revolves around the sense of interconnectedness, transforming the building into a network of terraces that transcend mere physical spaces. These terraces, thoughtfully designed and strategically positioned, evolve into vibrant hubs of activity and interaction. This intentional design not only elevates the aesthetic appeal of the structure but also fosters a sense of community, transforming the theatre into a dynamic centrepiece for urban engagement. The symbiotic relationship between the theatre and its surroundings ensures that it serves not only as a cultural and artistic hub but also as a catalyst for the social fabric of the area.
