The performance space has a fluid form structure.The objective is to have an organic movement that emerges and merges into the other part of the building.It blurs the boundaries between building,structure, space and landscape through the use of form,light,space and material.The form is also conceived as a landscape for people to access it as a gradual mound.The glass facade of the building allows full exterior views, again providing visual connectivity with the surrounding.The curving green roof distinguishes this building from among the other buildings around but the line between landscape and building is blurred.The roof creates an open public space which incorporates the movement of the nearby food stalls in such a way so as to attract the crowds as well as to increase and add on to its value.Having one performance space common for all the institutes of that area will result in some unified expression of performances for Ahmedabad University.
