HypArboreal Haven

Located amidst the lush green trees in Kumbakonam, HypArboreal Haven is a meditation and yoga retreat that was inspired by the concept of 'hyperbolic paraboloid' or 'hypar' in short. The form is derived through tesselation in origami which then evolved into a form that replicates the petals of a flower. The spaces facilitate their respective activities with the suitable use of light intensities by controlling the openings. The natural elements like the trees and the pond are welcomed in certain places and slightly restricted in some creating an atmosphere to relax and reflect.
