The city of Ahmedabad expanded physically at a very rapid pace in past few decades due to urbanization and hence came the green belt proposal at the fringes of the city with an assumption that it will restrict growth but city expanded endlessly beyond the green belt leaving that piece of valuable land untouched. Today this land is open for development of the city. The human interactions in the existing surrounding context which is very confined, self-centered and territory oriented, thereby creating boundaries. Project strategy is to provide them with an opportunity to cross those boundaries to reach the third place.
