Entwined ecologies : Dynamic living landscapes

The project’s design approach centers on fostering ecological dominance shaped by both natural processes and human activities. The emphasis lies in creating habitats conducive to the nesting and foraging behaviors of aquafauna species within the ecosystem. This involves strategically incorporating marshy patches along the edges and managing moisture levels to support diverse plant species and sustain ecological systems. These efforts aim to preserve designated areas as conservation zones, safeguarding the delicate balance of the ecosystem. Meanwhile, the surrounding edges serve as activity areas for human engagement. Implementation of tailored management strategies and controls is essential to restrict access to these landscape patches, ensuring the protection and longevity of the conserved areas.
