BRIDGING BOUNDARIES-ENHANCING SPATAIL&ECOLOGICAL CONNECT

The project aims to restore the fragmented and degraded spaces of Govardhan Sagar Lake by reintroducing native vegetation and implementing water retention strategies to enhance groundwater recharge. Through experiential trails, the project envisions a continuous biodiversity corridor—connecting the park, shrubland, and grassland that supports avifaunal life. By placing ecology at the core, the design fosters seasonal experiences, strengthens human-nature relationships, and transforms the lake edge into a resilient, living system that balances restoration with community engagement.
