Ecotonal Interfaces

This project re imagines the lake as a dynamic ecological and social interface, where humans experience the ecological diversity and sometimes participate in its dynamism. By integrating elevated walkways, interwoven pathways among strategic planting, and, floating wetlands, the design fosters a harmonious coexistence between natural and urban systems. The intervention goes beyond restoration—it curates experiences that actively engage people in the lake’s ecological cycles, allowing them to witness, respect, and participate in its transformation. Through a carefully zoned approach, the design ensures a balance between public access and ecological regeneration, guiding interactions that are both immersive and protective.
