Looking through the eyes of young travelers, the youth hostel was  mirroring the city. Giving the overview of the site, which was placed in-between the old and new city of Ahmedabad, with the fort wall as a backdrop. The program was to find the patterns, in which the site fits, may it be socially, geographically or any other parameters concerned, reacting to all sides of the site-the riverfront, streets of old city and the fort wall - with site as a form. Coming out with the design that does not affect the surrounding,but in a way mixes with the cluster.
