The Rise Festival

There were several frames of animation created. A little animated film was constructed using those frames. After making the animation frames, a mid frame was chosen. From that mid frame multiple iterations were made to explore the overall form and how it could be transformed into a building structure. The form of the structure is the same as the mid frame, since the play ground was created in this iteration with the selected mid frame in mind. The structure remains the same as mid frame. Then the same playground at 1:20 scale converts into a residence in 1:50 scale similarly also gets converted into a commercial building at 1:200 scale. The location chosen for these buildings is Ooty, Tamil Nadu. The playground was built for children and offers a variety of exciting physical activities such as slides, ropes, sand pits, and so on. Residence was designed for the family of 5 which includes kids, parents and grandparents. Similarly, commercial buildings were created for 100 to 150 people, with a focus on professionals in design industries such as architects, product de signers, and art galleries.
RISE FEST  (TEMPORARY CITY) For the massive celebration of many forms of art, a temporary structure has been de signed on the cliff of Basant pore, Albert Hill. The building is made to accommodate the various kinds of artists who will visit and display their work for six months while also enjoying the festival. As one moves forward, they will observe the building’s distinctive semicircular shape, supported by the columns. Between the structure and the cliff is a sizable courtyard. Every story of the building has open terraces that offer an amazing view of the city as soon as you go inside.
