A Fragment

Triangle as a shape allows a flexibility of creating any and every type of shape/form. Starting with the intention of gaining flexibility in working with different angles in planes simultaneously a joint was designed inspired from nut and bolt. The joint is an equilateral prism with wooden members on three sides forming a module hexagonal in plan with compression members on top and tension members at bottom. When the module is repeated, it forms an equilateral triangle, and when the tension of the members is increased it results in curved triangular surface.
