Integrated Farming System

The site for the project is located in Talaulim, Goa. The project aims to utilize a single land for two purposes, one for growing rice and the other for fish farming, to improve the soil's nutrient content. To facilitate nutrient cycling by integrating fish into the rice paddies, utilizing their refuse as natural fertilizer, thus reducing the reliance on synthetic fertilizers and promoting soil health. Enhanced yield and growing adequate rice and fish for the community is the main aim. If proven effective, this approach could function to reclaim the nearby abandoned areas.
