We are Making a Bund

What once were lively agricultural fields are now becoming ponds thriving with fishing. Amidst vast abandoned fields are small ponds interspersed with mangroves slowly taking over the landscape. In this ever-transitioning context, there comes a bund. From one end to the other, people all over the village come together to make just a bund which would become a barrier that protects and a corridor that can host people and spaces. They build to not let the mangroves take over all the fields. They build the bund in the hope that agriculture might come back years later.
