Watering Mines

By adjusting the water flows through the mining landscape, we allow plants to take back the landscape of the mines and reduce the toxicity of the soil and water. New water channels help water newly planted species during the summer and keep the rain from eroding the land during monsoon. A newly created wetland will help to reduce the toxicity of the water. To help the involved actors and people of Goa understand the new landscape and its processes we propose three different observatories.
