As we enter the site the first thing we notice is the identity and the language elements of the building. The identities through which a building is being acknowledged through long arcades and the connecting bridge , which connects the two unit buildings. Here, architecture has its own identity and trying to blend the architecture with program as pod hotel. Pod has it’s characteristics which is limited adaptive space which helps in modulating and increase in its number which allows more accommodation. Here, idea was to highlight the arcade of the building, while walking through the arcades you can experience the modulating surface which is created by the extrusion of the pods. Why the pods are extruded? idea here was that pod is a very private space so with every visit of the clients it creates a pattern which decreases the interest towards it, so here every pod has its own individuality which creates different vantage points and connecting inside towards the outside, secondly pod is a adaptable with little space by creating extrusion more space is obtained.
