Seating for CALICO DOME, Ahmedabad. The devastation of the 2001 earthquake, led the devastation of the Complex and the center of the dome collapsed and the restoration has been initiated. The idea was to design the seating arrangements for the visitors to this space. The seating design is a flat pack benching system. Having a fixed set of furniture under the dome makes it a slightly inaccessible site for commute and is space consuming. Hence, installing the seating system that is folded up against the wall when not being used serves the purpose and is aesthetically pleasing.
