The Snug Hub

The Snug Hub is a recreational center for teens where they can dance and play indoor games while taking a break from their routine. Interaction plays a major role in teenager’s lives as it allows them to exchange ideas, share their knowledge and helps them grow together. Keeping this in mind, the center tries to increase interaction by having partitions only where necessary. Thick partition walls that respect the existing structure, and which integrate furniture elements meant for sitting, storage, working tops and display systems. Punctures have been introduced at different levels to create internal interaction in spaces. A flexible and adaptable space is created using a play of levels to suit the comfort of teenagers in the gaming zone.  Line between indoors and outdoors is blurred by having a glass roof in the reception area which opens up to the canopy of trees. A soft design language is maintained throughout where sharp corners are eliminated making the the niches and seating spaces more inviting and cozy. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13-tnAQnri9XhRJK2RRfU_f0yoCCkdZDF?usp=share_link
