Prathima is a hotel in Pelling with the natural backdrop of Kanchenjunga. The concept draws inspiration from the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Pelling, a region in Sikkim. This concept aims to create a space that seamlessly blends with the surrounding environment, taking cues from the native flora, and drawing from the intricate paintings of deities found in Pelling. At its core, it embodies a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and the spiritual essence of Sikkim. The genesis of the concept lies in a particular flower depicted in the paintings of deities in Pelling. This flower, carefully selected for its significance in local culture and spirituality, becomes the guiding symbol for the design. Its attributes, including color, shape, scent, and symbolism, are translated into design elements that shape the hospitality space.
